Certain Medicare Advantage Plans are available for dual eligible (Medicare/Medicaid) participants. Individuals on Social Security Disability for at least two years may qualify for a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Part-D RX program.
Medicare offers a Part-D RX subsidy program for low-income seniors. Many states also offer low-income subsidy programs for Part-B premiums.
Depending on your specific health care needs and certain other eligibility factors it may be beneficial for you to enroll in a Special Needs Medicare Advantage Plans. If you qualify for one of these programs there are usually little or no copays. Since plans vary depending on the county and state where you live, you should do plenty of research.
